Club Notes: June 1st

Winning numbers in the Lottsodoo were 2, 3, 7, 13, 18 and Brenda Kerr won £100. The main jackpot stays at £5,000 for next week’s draw which takes place as usual at the Bingo in the Parish Centre on Monday night.
Hurls, helmets and a whole range of clubwear available in the club shop tomorrow night, Thursday, from 7:00 to 8:00pm.
We have a big number of teams involved in various games in our club and last weekend we had a great team of workers involved in the hosting of double games on Friday and Saturday evenings. Their efforts ensured the smooth running of four very enjoyable youth finals.
It was back to Ballinamullan on Sunday for our senior league game with Strabane and a good weekend was rounded off with two league points. This weekend we go to Coalisland for reserve and senior league games. Confirmation later on whether they will be on Saturday or Sunday.
Our U14 dev team put on a good performance in the championship but lost to Brackaville.
Our minor girls were defeated in the championship but pushed Aodh Ruadh all the way and deserved to come away with a better result.
Our U14 girls play Loughmacrory tomorrow night, Thursday, in the championship and they play Moortown in the league on Saturday.
Our U14 hurlers are away to Shamrocks on Monday evening in their first league game.
The U21 football competition is scheduled to begin on Tuesday.
There will be a meeting tomorrow night, Thursday, at 8:30pm for an update on development work, including the scoreboard, in advance of the usual monthly club meeting next Thursday night.
The Night at the Races, Friday 24th June, in The Village Inn is fast-approaching and we urge everyone to buy horses or sponsor a race.
