Last Saturday’s 10K Run and 5K Run and Walk proved to be even more successful than in previous years. A big thank you the many people, young and not so young, who participated. We also thank our generous sponsors and our willing workers who made sure that the entire event went over so smoothly and so enjoyably. Those who participated had obviously spent time preparing. Those who organised it also spent time preparing. Well done to everyone and here’s looking forward to next year’s.
We had Errigal Ciaran as visitors last Sunday. The Reserve game was a closely contested affair with the teams matching each other score for score. So it was almost inevitable that they would finish level and that’s just what they did 0-11 to 0-11. The Senior game was also close but only up to the three-quarter stage when Errigal Ciaran pulled away to record a clear-cut win. This Saturday we take on Omagh St Enda’s in Ballinamullan. The games are at 5:30 and 7:00pm. A collection will be taken at the match for Miles For Matty and we urge everyone to be generous.
Congratulations to Erin McMahon and Brian McGinn and the Tyrone Ladies U16s on winning the Ulster title.
Our U14 girls defeated Drumragh last week and play Kildress tomorrow night, Thursday.
Our Senior Ladies are due to play Errigal Ciaran on Friday night.
Our U14 boys play Donaghmore in the Championship tomorrow night, Thursday, in Donaghmore.
