Feile na Ceapai Throw In

After many months of planning and great deal of team work from across the club and local community Feile na Ceapi was launched with the return of our victorious Senior team. The Craic was great as players and supporters mingled in the ‘Big Top’ to watch a replay of the game. The analysis flowed along with the drink, & the barbque smoked well into the night providing the revellers with energy for the festival ahead.

The 125th Celebrations of the GAA will run all weekend with a full diary of events…

Thanks for your comments Sean. But I cannot take all the credit. Behind every great man there is a great woman, so a special thanks must go out to my mother…………….only Joking. Emma Wallace was the main organiser behind the Disco and a special thanks must to her. It was a great weekend and a special thanks must go to the events and club committee. also to all the members who helped out on general duties and things like the BBQ and cleaning etc. The whole weekend showed what a great club we are and the fantastic members we have within it. The GUEST TEA WAS GREAT sorry the BEST.

The Feile was another great event for everyone in our club. There was a lot of hard work done, a lot of late nights, but on Saturday when we saw the enjoyment that the children got from the fun day, it was all worth while.

Lets hope there will be many more great events in the future.

THERE ARE STILL A FEW FEILE NA CEAPAI T SHIRTS AVAILABLE FOR SALE@ £15.00 CONTACT 077 7193 5919 OR ANY OF THE COMMITTEE…

  4. Great weekend, great to have a Cappagh festival again, brings back great memories of Duck Derbys in the Burn – maybe thats one for next year. Big thanks to everyone who helped out. Well done to the genius who came up with the guest tea, I hear his speech went down as well as Bridie Connelly’s Chocolate sponge cake. But best news of all Ren came home.

looking forward till the next event, maybe we’ll dust down the rickety wheel for a Bazar…..
